How They Met:

Tracy became friends with Ray's sister, Ali, during their years at Gustavus. In 2002, Ali introduced Tracy and Ray at Moose Country in Mendota Heights. Ali joked that one day she was going to set the two of them up. Ray and Tracy didn't meet again until the summer of 2005, when Tracy went to a cabin with Ali and her family. Despite the rampant horse flies, Ray and Tracy were able to talk and get to know each other. Ray FINALLY asked her on a date - right before he left for school in Moorhead and she moved to Wisconsin. Despite the distance, they soon realized that they wanted to be together.

The Engagement:

On Tracy's birthday she came home from class to a dark apartment. There were candles and flowers scattered around. She was told to follow a string around the apartment until she finally made it to Ray. Apparently the string was a little too long; Ray was in another room on one knee for too long, calling out to Tracy "Where are you?" Ray had a beautiful ring and proceeded to ask Tracy to marry him.

About the Couple:

Ray and Tracy enjoy spending their time together engaging in a variety of activities. They love spending time with friends; taking trips to Chicago; going to Vikings, Timberwolves, and Bulls games; spending time with family; watching Family Guy and CSI; watching movies; going boating; and wakeboarding.
